Last week, Kompany wrote a blog post listing their 5 Influential Women in RegTech (in 2021).

Featuring in the list are three of RegTech Women's advisory board members: Sian Lewin, Lucy Heavens and Jane Jee.

In selecting these influential women in RegTech, Kompany writes:

"Dr. Sian Lewin is certainly a woman to watch in RegTech."

"Lucy Heavens is an outspoken voice in the community and we’re excited to see her continue her work to bring women in the industry together throughout 2021."

"Jane Jee shares her vast industry knowledge with her community by publishing articles on anti-money laundering, speaking at conferences and advocating for the widespread adoption of RegTech..."

As well as recognising RegTech Women advisory board members, the article strikes a serious note about female participation in the RegTech industry, stating:

Making up no more than 35% of the industry, women in RegTech are outnumbered by their male counterparts, especially when it comes to who holds key leadership positions.

RegTech Women is a professional women’s network that promotes and enhances the vital role women play in driving success within the RegTech Industry. We are thrilled that women who are driving change and championing female talent have been recognised by this accolade.

RegTech Women is registered in England and Wales under company number 12393139
